We have an exciting opportunity for a Agri Product Manager to join our Procurement team, you will manage a collection of business categories to support the agreed business plan, achieving margin targets and aiding in the achievement of the sales target for the Agri Division, ensuring that customer service is always a priority and adhering to deadlines.

About You 

So that you're set for success, we're looking for a self-starter, who's got strong Agricultural knowledge and ideally previous practical experience within farm management or working on the family farm. The ability to build supplier relationships coupled with strong negotiation and communication skills as well as a passion of UK Agriculture will be key within this role.

To really succeed in this role we are looking for someone who has determination and competitiveness with a personal ambition to develop. We are keen to hear from anyone who meets some or all of these points. We are looking for the right behaviours that demonstrate our values culture.

What you will be doing as a Agri Product Manager… 

  • Deciding on products and product ranges to be purchased in line with agreed business plan
  • Acquiring a full knowledge of relevant categories of the stock profile and suppliers to the Agri Division and the terms under which they are operated
  • Negotiating terms and monitor overall performance with supplying companies to Mole Valley Farmers advantage
  • Develop the business by producing a detailed annual business plan for each category showing sales strategy, margin aspirations and growth potential and to review quarterly
  • Plan,organise, promote, and monitor sales campaigns in conjunction with marketing, replenishment team and operations
