Digital Product Owner, Acquisition

As part of the fast-growing Platform Product team, you’ll drive and be a shining example of Product excellence within NewDay.  You will craft the future of NewDay’s Acquisition platform – building outstanding services for our customers.  

By taking the vision and goals of the Commercial and Technical teams, you’ll give our teams the clarity to develop, adapt and innovate at speed, while maintaining our high standard of quality and agile practice.

You’ll educate, advise and inspire the wider Digital team directly though contributions such as – but not limited to - writing for our Blog, presenting on technical topics and mentorship.  

You’ll deliver

  • Creating and leading a vision for your product team and driving this forward, while shaping, owning and building out new capabilities for the Platform
  • Monitoring overall performance of existing and new capabilities against goals and celebrating achievements
  • Crafting, owning, and updating roadmaps and Defining requirements to bolster the resilience and performance of your product
  • You will engage with multiple people across the business, from engineering and commercial teams, through to reporting progress to senior leadership.
  • Driving agile practices and embedding processes within your team whilst maintaining morale and dedication
  • Working with our Engineering and Product community to champion a culture of learning, growth and innovation

 What you’ll bring

We need knowledge, experience + expertise in:  

  • Driving the full product delivery life cycle through your team from the gathering of requirements through design and development, to deployment & support.
  • A Product Owner, Product Management or similar role, ideally in a financial services or FinTech business.
  • Managing API Products within an agile framework.
  • Influencing partners to ensure initiatives in their domains are delivered to high quality, on time and within budgets
  • Use of data to drive decisions

And would love you to know or learn:

  • Recognised agile qualifications.
  • Experience with Azure or App Insights
  • Experience of working with regulatory compliant products.
