Canon UK&I are looking for a Digital Solutions Product Manager.

You will be an enthusiastic, product marketer and product manager to drive services-led growth across Workspace and Production portfolio.

You will manage the DP&S Services, pivotal to B2B organisations who are looking to maximise their technology stack and invest in more efficient and productive workflow.

You will be responsible for maximising the performance of Canon’s portfolio, designing and implementing the correct marketing plans to drive revenue growth and profit through collaboration with Sales, Professional Service, Services and all other support functions as appropriate.

What we ask

You Will:

  • Own product lifecycle management for all elements of the Services portfolio, including successful launch strategy and exit of Services
  • Through thorough market analysis and regular reporting (incl. competitor positioning) help set business targets, manage the product budget process and then monitor CUKI progress.
    Provide scheduled management reporting on portfolio performance (units and revenies)
  • Identify capability needs and fulfil requirements to equip sales personnel across all channels with the appropriate knowledge, skills and tools related to the product portfolio
  • Build and publish a marketing strategy to achieve Services objectives within relevant channels & sectors
  • Own relationship with 3rd party providers that form part of the portfolio and generate new business opportunities in collaboration with these partners
  • Own service plan & profitability for the portfolio, both Canon & channel partners
  • Be the spokesperson for the Services portfolio at key internal & external events with the ability to position the portfolio to different audiences and tailor content appropriately
  • Own and implement required lead generation activity to drive pipeline for the portfolio, across all channels, working with appropriate marketing colleagues (campaign, channel) and key channel stakeholders
  • Drive sales enablement through adaptation/creation of sales ready application and product content, tailored by route to market, and proactively communicated / regularly reinforced through all available platforms, tools and forums
  • Be the core spokesperson for the solutions portfolio at key events and external engagements
  • Work closely with Sales, Business Operations, Finance and Service teams to ensure a cohesive approach across all our Digital Print & Solution Services Product Management and Marketing. Collaborate with wider marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and marketing activities across Canon. Be the key interface with the CEL B2B organisation to ensure alignment on approach with the EMEA strategy, including positive influence of future direction to the benefit of CUKI.

 

You will need

As the Digital solution Product Manager, you will possess the following skills and expertise;

  • Successful track record in B2B Marketing including Product Marketing within the Technology sector.
  • Experience working with direct and indirect sales teams, ideally including distribution and e-commerce.
  • Proactive self-starter, able to overcome obstacles and deliver within agreed timeframes.
  • Passionate about Product Marketing and associated technologies.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills incl. Salesforce / PowerBI and other analytical tools to present current revenue, profitability and market share performance and mid-term forecasts.
  • Blends a creative approach with analytical substance.
  • Budget management (P&L and revenues targets).
  • Relationship and networking building skills, being able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Sales, Support Functions and Canon Europe.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Degree in Marketing or CIM qualified preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 year’s experience in related role preferred.
