About the role:

The Manager - Scrum Product Owners will lead a team of 11 Scrum Product Owners in the UK. This role involves providing leadership, direction, and vision to support Agile/Scrum processes within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The manager will work closely with Engineering, Product, Data, and Project leaders to ensure effective coordination and delivery of business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage performance, hiring, coaching, and resource planning for the team
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Drive improvements in Agile/Scrum Product Owner approaches and processes
  • Recommend and adopt tools and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness and collaboration.
  • Seek diverse ideas and perspectives to create better solutions, products, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable law
  • Provide training, resources, and frequent feedback to staff.
  • Encourage innovation and accountability within the team.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum frameworks and methods.
  • Experience in improving product development methods.
  • Strong leadership and management skills in developing, coaching, and empowering a team
  • Ability to set, communicate, and achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Experience in partnering with technology resources to solve complex business needs
  • Strong organizational, project planning, time management, and change management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills applicable to a wide audience, including senior management.
