The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•⁠  ⁠Technical Expertise: Must have a strong technical background and understanding of card payment processes, including authorization, clearing, and settlement, as well as interactions between issuers, acquirers, and payment networks

•⁠  ⁠Knowledge on ISO 8583, ISO 20022

•⁠  ⁠Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with customers, financial institutions, merchants, and internal engineering teams, requiring a deep understanding of technical feasibility and constraints.

•⁠  ⁠Having a customer-focused mindset and being able to articulate customer problems/needs.

•⁠  ⁠Participating in intake discussions.

•⁠  ⁠Understanding technical requirements and ensuring they are clearly defined and aligned with business goals.

•⁠  ⁠Maintaining the product backlog with a view to goals

•⁠  ⁠Prioritizing the backlog. Define Story writing

•⁠  ⁠Should be able to describe current flows and proposed flows,  

•⁠  ⁠Articulating feature hypotheses and evaluating the outcomes of each feature.

•⁠  ⁠Defining stories for downstream teams to work on and breaking prioritized features for functional initiatives into acceptable user stories.

•⁠  ⁠Providing initial sizing and level of effort.

•⁠  ⁠Preparing updates for customer communication, internal documents, technical and functional specs, and internal and external training.

•⁠  ⁠Walking through features/stories with the feature team and assisting in the scoring of points.

•⁠  ⁠Owning the acceptance criteria and reviewing test cases.

•⁠  ⁠Participating in Sprint Planning, Retros, and Demos.

•⁠  ⁠Validating demos and showcasing products, defining API requirements, and creating and maintaining documentation as part of the SDLC.
