Our Client: Based out of Bath, our client provides a Wealth Management Platform for their clients to simplify the complex world of investment. 


The Role: We are looking for a dedicated Product Owner to be the point person in their software delivery. 


It's Purpose: The Product Owner will be responsible for defining the product vision and managing the product development process. As a product owner, you will plan and manage the development project from start to finish, and ensure that the product meet the business needs. 


The Person: The Product Owner will be able to lead the product development team toward achieving the vision and mission of the organization. They will be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.


Responsibilities


  • Strategizing and presenting ideas to stakeholders
  • Defining product features according to customer needs
  • Leading the development process
  • Acting as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders
  • Managing and prioritizing product backlog items
  • Assisting the scrum/product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint
  • Adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release
  • Identifying areas of improvement
  • Keeping customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product


About you


Essential:


  • Previous working experience as a product owner
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure


Desirable:


  • BA in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Similar role held in a Wrap Platform business
  • Financial Service knowledge
  • Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask..
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical development initiatives.
  • Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented.
  • Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker
