About the CaRi-Heart® Technology

Named first of “7 Technologies That Could Change Heart Healthcare Forevermore” by the Robb Report, the CaRi-Heart® technology is Caristo’s flagship offering which aids coronary artery disease diagnosis with improved risk prediction. It applies advanced AI algorithms to routine cardiac CT scans to visualize and quantify coronary inflammation, which is the previously invisible root cause of the disease. About The Role

Overview 

This individual will join a talented and expanding cross-functional engineering team developing the end to end software system running Caristo’s ground breaking CaRi-Heart® technology. The Product Owner will define the vision and concept for solutions within the Caristo system and work in a technical, hands-on capacity with other team members to develop, test and deliver these benefits for users and customers globally.

Responsibilities include some or all of the following:

• Defining the concept and strategy for a solution or system and communicate this to the team
• Stakeholder and user requirements gathering. Usability testing and collecting and analyzing customer feedback
• Defining and maintaining a prioritized product backlog to coordinate the team’s work in an Agile development context
• Requirements definition in line with Caristo quality system
• Reviewing, testing and accepting of completed features
• Systems acceptance and roll-out to users
• Product demonstrations and training
• Technical support and defect prioritization
• Participating in the risk management process

Skills and Experience:

Essential

• BSc or higher in related field
• 1+ years’ experience as Product Owner in medical technology field
• Experience with hospital IT system integrations
• Experience with medical data systems and communication protocols (e.g. DICOM, FHIR, HL7)
• Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable

• Experience with formal requirements management and risk management processes
• Testing and test automation experience
• Software development experience
• Experience with advanced diagnostic imaging applications
• UX design / Usability processes
