As a Senior Engineering Product Owner at JPMorgan Chase within the Equity Derivatives business, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.

You will be a front office product owner responsible for the technology book of work of a rapidly growing business within JP Morgan.  You will work within a tight knit team of traders, structurers and technologists to help scale this business.  We are looking for someone with experience of fast paced project management: forming a long term business strategy and a technology program to achieve this, triaging new project requests and prioritising them within the overall program, and helping push in flight projects through to completion.

  • Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
  • Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
  • Adds to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or equivalent experience in Product Management
  • Team player, able to communicate well with both fellow technologists and business users
  • Excellent analytical skills (i.e. problem solving).
  • A solid foundation in computer science and software engineering principles.
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly pick up new ideas, concepts and technologies.
  • Disciplined approach to code management, testing and deployment practices.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience of working in a front office environment within financial services.
