The Global Products & Analytics team within the commercial data and technology group (Digital Fuel) is driving a fundamental transformation building new, advanced capabilities in customer segmentation, omnichannel measurement, campaign measurement, channel and data orchestration, marketing decision engines, and much more.

This role will be accountable for identifying opportunities for growth and innovation, ultimately driving a product vision, strategy, and corresponding roadmap for AI content generation and processes to support the organization’s omnichannel ambitions. They will need to balance business and customer needs while simultaneously improving the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the product team to deliver a best-in-class content generation platform to support and modernize the end-to-end global-to-local content creation.

The Senior Manager will be accountable for establishing and implementing a cohesive strategy for innovative content creation that reduces reliance on agencies and accelerates delivery. They will lead product discovery by leveraging data, research, and market analysis. As this is a rapidly developing tech space, they will stay current on the latest innovations to explore how to continuously evolve the content creation platform (Content Multiplier). As new ideas and experiments with commercial HCP and patient content generation are explored at GSK, they will support in discovery, evaluation, and validation, simultaneously considering how to update the overarching product strategy and/or enhance and growth the core content creation platform. In addition, they will work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) and liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective rollout of new features globally.

In this role you will

  • Lead team in developing a strategy and roadmap, aligned to a clear North-star metric, KPIs, and OKRs, balancing customer and business needs, which should be defensible to stakeholders and yourself
  • Meet your objectives by focusing on data-driven decision making and customer centricity
  • Understand customer needs better than anyone through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Work with colleagues from multi-disciplinary backgrounds to set a clear and cohesive strategy while maintaining space to incorporate new ideas along the journey
  • Rigorously apply the scientific method and lean start-up thinking to set hypotheses, design experiments, test assumptions and break-down complex problems to deliver value to customers
  • Measure the impact of features and releases, then close the value loop and ensure market adoption
  • Reduce dependencies, remove blockers, and coordinate with other product teams and key stakeholders
  • Maintain high credibility and alignment with stakeholders
  • Work to continuously improve operational efficiency of your global product team, including processes for scaling product enhancements, to promote adoption of your products at GSK
  • Act as the single point of accountability to make sure products are performing to maintain high levels of satisfaction with customers around all aspects of the products (BAU and growth)

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 

  • BA/BSc degree in any discipline
  • Led teams that have developed successful software products from concept to adoption
  • Directly managed product managers/analysts and are passionate about developing people and maintaining high levels of engagement
  • Experience of working within a matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders to manage
  • Broad and detailed understanding of product management techniques including customer development, discovery & primary research, lean start-up method and industrialisation/scaling-up
  • Defined your own North-star Metric, KPIs sets and run your product teams using OKRs
  • Technical knowledge to understand your team’s software products

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Know how to create and balance a healthy-tension between Product, UX & Design and Engineering
  • Proven experience in onboarding yourself and getting up to speed quickly on new products
  • Flexible enough to take on new products and technologies to help deliver your customers jobs to be done quickly
  • Able to set and manage expectations effectively at all levels of the organization
