The Senior Product Manager, Equity and Multi-Asset Indices, EMEA, plays a key role within FTSE Russell by contributing to the management of a comprehensive, front-to-back product organisation, ensuring its alignment with global and regional business priorities. This includes close collaboration with the index research, design, policy and sales teams, engineering divisions, and operations to deliver innovative index solutions tailored to meet evolving client needs. With a strong focus on client engagement, you will establish and execute strategies to expand market share across various segments, including asset owners, asset managers (active and passive), buy-side institutions, and wealth management, with an emphasis on innovation, capability development and growth.


Reporting directly to the Head of EMEA Index Product Management, Equity and Multi-Asset Indices, this role is based in London and involves being part of a high-performing team to drive regional strategy and enhance client outcomes.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for equity and multi-asset indices in EMEA, ensuring alignment with global goals and regional growth objectives.
  • Establish market positioning across key client segments, including asset owners, active and passive asset managers, and wealth management.
  • Define and implement innovative solutions, including direct indexing and customisation, to drive client adoption and market penetration.

Full Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Contribute to a front-to-back product organisation accountable for revenue growth, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the index research, design, and policy teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and capabilities that align with market demand and regulatory standards.
  • Drive end-to-end ownership of product development, commercialisation, and post-launch maintenance and performance tracking.

Client-Centric Growth:

  • Be part of a client-facing team, building trusted partnerships with key stakeholders across institutional segments and distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with sales to identify opportunities, enhance client engagement, and promote the value proposition of FTSE Russell products.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and tailored index solutions that meet the unique needs of diverse client bases.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with internal teams, including operations, technology, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, ensuring collaboration across EMEA and globally.
  • Align with the global equity and multi-asset team to establish regional priorities and contribute to group-wide initiatives.

Revenue and Market Expansion:

  • Drive penetration in underdeveloped segments such as wealth management, leveraging innovation and tailored solutions.
  • Expand FTSE Russell’s presence across EMEA through partnerships, product launches, and enhanced client engagement strategies.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience (10+years) within the financial services or index industry, with a strong understanding of equity and multi-asset products.
  • Expertise in product development and management, spanning customisation, direct indexing, and tailored index solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in building and working in client-focused teams to drive revenue growth across asset owners, asset managers, and wealth managers.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a focus on client engagement and partnerships.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments, including ETFs, funds, and derivatives, as well as market trends influencing the index industry.
