11:FS is on a mission to change the fabric of financial services. Our Ventures practice builds challenger propositions globally, like we did for Natwest with Mettle. Our Pulse team creates a benchmarking tool used by the likes of Monzo, Starling, Natwest and Tesco Bank. On top of all of that, we’re a media company; our Growth team generates a stream of content that supports our brand and changes the conversation - not necessarily in that order. Our Foundry team is creating a fintech building machine by leveraging our experience and history of building multiple fintech banks and other propositions.
We also have a vision for a game-changing wealth advisory product that will be underpinned by our Foundry financial services platform. It will provide clients a complete financial concierge by combining data and digital services with the reassurance of experienced advisors and wealth managers. All of this enables augmented advisors to provide personalised wealth services at scale.
About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing team to help both drive the delivery of the Foundry platform into the Wealth sector and establish the initial offering for the wealth advisory product. Leading our delivery, helping shape the roadmap and bringing the product to life. You will work together with the best engineers, fintech talent, and clients, to create and develop the Foundry platform.With a particular focus on wealth offerings and also working closely as a part of the team on the wealth advisory product.
- Delivery - You will work with the Head of Product , CTO and engineering teams to help craft the core delivery of the Foundry platform.
- Product Roadmap - You will define the roadmap and backlog of work, supporting and directing the team in planning how the product will develop in specific markets. You will work with the team and leadership teams from across 11:FS Group to prioritise what needs to be delivered for our own ventures and our the client pipeline
- Product Marketing - You will have an understanding of the core product features, benefits and how this translates into product marketing, working closely with the 11:FS Marketing experts.
- Customer insights and development - You will report to the Head of Product to and assist them on identifying the ‘jobs to be done’ for different end-customer segments across Wealth, structuring primary and secondary research into insightful proposition ideas and proposals
- Create proposition - Working cross functionally you will define, take to market and help sell a solution to stakeholders that brings together a real answer to a customer need, remixing design patterns, understanding what can be built in software, and what the potential business model could be.
- MVP Development and test - You will own and shape future functionality in Foundry, shaping new MVPs and MLPs based on sales, marketing and client feedback as well as the core direction of the platform itself.
About you:
We are looking for product managers who have worked in a B2B environment - ideally experience working with and building SaaS products and/or a B2B2C focus. If you had experience working in wealth service businesses or experience of business and technology in the IFA / investment management space that would be amazing.
You will have a strong commercial acumen, focused on creating not only a product customers love but a viable business proposition. It will also be important you have the ability to communicate exceptionally well both when managing key stakeholders, interacting with clients and working cross functionally with your engineering team.
You have:
- Product Management experience in B2B/SaaS environments and understand the B2B2C dynamic
- A customer centric mindset, and are great at striking the balance between business viability, technical feasibility and customer value to drive the best results
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrable experience in working cross functionally and influencing technical teams.
- A passion for how technology, commercial and delivery tensions can be managed
- Experience working within a fast paced startup environment and are comfortable with ambiguity and working with autonomy and ownership of a product area
- 0-1 product definition and development experience bringing together research, identifying key opportunities and strategically prioritising route to PMF
- A passion for Fintech and are excited by the opportunity to change the fabric of financial services
