We are looking for a Senior Product Manager Tech to lead the development of a key customer trust feature available in Amazon stores worldwide. This feature allows shoppers to easily report issues on our product pages. The Senior Product Manager Tech will be responsible for gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders, including diverse policy teams, working with engineering and science to use automation, and launch new features.
Successful applicants will have experience working with tech/non-tech teams, extensive analytic, program management and strategic stakeholder management experience. You will be at the center of exciting product initiatives that span across teams located all over the world. You bring experience in delivering end to end products, have exposure to automation and machine learning, that have clear with eye for detail, numbers, creating roadmaps with competing priorities, defining measurable success criteria and bring all stakeholders along. You are a problem solver, have great communication skills, are able to influence stakeholders and work well with functional global teams. You are well versed in working effectively in a fast-moving environment and are customer obsessed as a product leader.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the product roadmap and vision for the customer trust feature that helps Amazon listen to its customerβs WW.
- Use automation and ML to drive efficiencies that help Amazon act on direct customer inputs, building a safe and trusting shopping experience
- Identify both incremental and innovative opportunities to advocate for the product direction
- Take a lead role in gathering requirements from dependent businesses, draft and present business requirements documents (BRDs) and prioritization plans
- Make data-driven decisions, analyze trends to own customer trust decisions related to the feature
- Manage the relationship with the engineering and science teams to ensure effective implementation of deliverables
- Partner with the program team and other relevant teams to understand policy and process gaps, and develop solutions to address them
A day in the life
- Own the product roadmap, strategically prioritize product features on the product roadmap
- Work with program and partner teams and understand requirements, use data to assess and prioritize the requirements
- Work with support teams such as engineering and science teams leveraging automation/ML for outcomes
- Be a thought leader for the feature within the team and the larger scope of Trustworthy Shopping Experience

To continue building customer trust, the EU Trustworthy Shopping Experience team work with authorities, merchants, brands, vendors and customers to identify and prevent Selling Partner risk, as well as infringements of intellectual property (e.g. counterfeit, trademark, copyright) and other abuse in our product catalog.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- 5 years+ experience owning/driving end-to-end product roadmap strategy and definition for a tech product
- Experience of being a product leader influencing leaders and stakeholders for product adoption
- Experience of being a strong customer advocate and being that voice to executive level decision makers
- Experience of bringing along support teams to achieve organizational goals
- Experience with ML
- MBA
- Experience using advanced Machine Learning and AI tools
