This role is crucial in ensuring we get market traction at pace. The role requires a highly motivated and creative thinker with a strong understanding of business markets. Responsibilities


Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy
  • Identify target markets, segments, and key prospects.
  • Create and refine sales processes to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.

Revenue Generation:

  • Own and meet/exceed sales goals.
  • Drive the entire sales process from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Foster strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organisations.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build our product sales capability in line with our growth aspirations, through the coaching and up-skilling of our wider team

Market and Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product, the competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the product and R&D teams to align sales strategies with product capabilities and future direction.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to influence product development and marketing efforts.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement and support.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and evaluate sales metrics to optimise performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports.
  • Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and tactics as needed.


Who you are


  • You have 5+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience in the SaaS industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • You understand SaaS products, enterprise sales cycles, and customer buying behaviours, specifically in the technology space and preferably in the data space
  • You have the ability and determination to spot creative ways to generate leads and reduce the time to close
  • You have experience building/scaling a sales function either in a new market or for a new product
  • You have a demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop sales capabilities across a broad multi-disciplinary team
  • You have great analytical skills with strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to enable decisions
  • You are a strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. You have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy nurturing relationships with new clients
  • You have great negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
