Position Overview: 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Product Manager to join our Technology Product Management team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for developing digital products and a desire to learn in a dynamic environment.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Product Development: Determine and prioritize requirements for specific product features. Create user stories, specifications, mock-ups/wireframes and product documentation. 
  • Participate in Sprint Planning: Support the team in sprint planning, backlog grooming, triaging issues and ensuring that development tasks align with the overall product goals. 
  • Product Launch & Iteration: Manage the product launch process, including planning, testing, and post-launch analysis. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with application developers, solution architects and operations teams to ensure successful product delivery.  
  • Customer Focus: Analyse customer feedback and identify areas for product improvement and new features. 
  • Support Product Strategy: Assist in the development and communication of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals. 
  • Learn and Grow: Continuously develop your knowledge of the Skillcast product and product management best practices, tools, and techniques. 

 

Relevant skills and experience: 

  • Experience managing B2B SaaS products. 
  • Understanding of user experience and user interface design principles.
  • 1-2 years of experience in product management or a related role (internships or relevant experience in product development are a plus). 
  • Strong interest in technology, innovation, and understanding customer needs. 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with diverse teams. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and use it to make informed decisions. 
  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus. 
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within the field of product management. 
  • Knowledge of the following systems (or similar) would be beneficial: Prodpad, Mockflow, Azure DevOps and Sharepoint
