The Role


As key member of the Verve Vero team, you’ll support the build, testing, and optimisation of a suite of innovative AI tools that enhance our research offerings. Working closely with our Senior Product Manager and our dedicated Verve Vero team, you’ll deploy new technologies, help identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation, refine our existing toolkit, and serve as a go-to advisor for cross-functional teams. Most importantly, you’ll be part of a supportive environment that encourages you to learn, experiment, and grow. The role requires hybrid working from Verve's Manchester (UK) hub.



Key Responsibilities:


1.   Deployment of Verve Vero AI tools

  • Get to know how research flows work and identify where Verve Vero can positively disrupt to add value
  • Deliver backend Verve Vero builds for projects, ensuring quality and helping colleagues & clients to get the most out of these new methods
  • Train and advise colleagues so they can use Verve Vero tools confidently and creatively
  • Advise internal teams on project timelines, costs, and scope of Verve Vero approaches

2.   Development & Testing of Verve Vero AI Tools

  • Research and trial emerging AI technologies
  • Support the build & launch of new AI tools for the Verve Vero platform
  • Refine and update Verve Vero AI tools to improve performance and user experience
  • Identify new AI tools and features for Verve Vero

  • Self-Starter: You’ll be happy working on your own at times, jumping into new ideas without waiting for step-by-step instructions.
  • Confident Communicator: Clear communication comes naturally to you. You can explain tricky ideas in a way that makes sense to everyone.
  • Problem Solver: You enjoy figuring things out, testing new approaches, and never shy away from trying again if something doesn’t work right away.
  • Curious & Positive: You’re not afraid to explore the unknown, work diligently, and keep a positive attitude even when challenges arise.



Nice-to-Haves:

  • ~ 2 years work experience in a relevant field 
  • Any experience with creative or technical projects (for fun, for studies, or at work), no formal technical qualifications are required for this role.
  • Basic coding skills (e.g. Python) would be a plus - but is not essential.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and techniques (such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation models, vector embeddings, and machine learning models) is a bonus, but we’re here to help you learn.
