Job Description

Position Summary:

An experience and dynamic Product Manager tasked with developing & commercialising innovative products that drive scientific discovery and impact the world. Strategically lead a portfolio of technical products to improve value and align with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define long-term product strategies and build innovative, customer-focused solutions tailored to laboratory workflows.
  • Collaborate across divisions to deliver impactful results and complete successful go-to-market strategies.
    • Build critical close links to Marketing, to define and implement formal VOC (Voice of Customer) analysis and market research into Market trends, requirements and competitive landscape.
    • Partner with the Product Technical Team to translate customer requirements into technical specifications, oversee product development, and ensure timely and successful deployment of new products.
    • Consult with Commercial Sales Team to incorporate additional customer feedback, align product offerings with market needs, and support sales initiatives.
    • Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure flawless product implementation, efficient prioritization, and optimal supply chain management.
  • Develop and Manage relationships with 3rd party technology partners, driving collaboration and influencing of external technology development.
  • Drive product profitability and performance through market analysis, financial insights, and critical metrics.

  • Expertise in VOC, competitive analysis, and market research for strategy development.
  • Skilled in cross-functional teamwork, pricing, and go-to-market execution.

Education/Experience:

  • Required:Β A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or Chemistry.
  • Preferred:Β Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Product Management, Business Strategy, or Life Sciences, such as a master’s degree in MBA or an equivalent.
  • Preferred:Β Relevant certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM, or similar programs).
  • 5-10 years in product management within the pharmaceutical, laboratory technology, or scientific instrumentation sectors.
  • Experience in market analysis, ideally in scientific technology sectors.

  • Ability to efficiently implement innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact optimally with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional travel to customer sites and conferences.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
