Product Owner
Hybrid – Swindon or London
Up to £65,000 + Bonus
Objective of the Function/ role
Part of a fast-moving environment where key objectives include:
- Confirming Product Vision and conveying to team
- Supporting teams by providing requirements into user stories, and prioritising requirements.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements

Key Result Areas
- Deliverables meet business requirements, are operationally supportable, secure and scalable
- Driving continuous improvements across the development team
- Clear roadmap of deliverables
Responsibilities;
- Understand business requirement in order to assist team in creating accurate user stories that can be estimated by the development team
- Prioritise and manage the product backlog (epics and stories)
- Supporting the team by removing impediments and minimising disruption to maximise development efficiency
- Liaise with Product Manager to confirm progress, dependencies and escalate impediments.
- Driving continuous improvement
- Support the Product Manager in tasks around the product domain as required
- Participate in scrum meetings and product sprints
- Manage and prioritise backlog, keeping abreast of evolving requirements; and agree sprint goals, ensuring focus is on adding value and meeting the business goal
- Adapting to changes in requirements
- Ensure epics and user stories are clear and concise and meet business requirements
- Provide Product Owner sign off to completed user stories, ensuring definition of done is adhered to
- Provide support to the team to address impediments and seek help from outside the team if required to resolve
- Minimise technical debt built into product
- Evaluate and monitor product progress, identify areas of improvement
- Provide reporting on status and future deliverables roadmap to customers and key stakeholders.
- Support team members to achieve company objectives along with promoting a positive collaborative atmosphere
