ABOUT RISILIENCE

Risilience is hiring a Technical Product Manager to drive our mission of enabling businesses to effectively navigate the profound changes brought about by climate and wider environmental changes.

We have developed a unique modelling and analytics platform to help international corporations assess their risks and opportunities presented by rising temperatures, climate-related policy, and emerging technologies.

Our SaaS solutions help companies produce climate-related compliance analytics, navigate their pathway to Net Zero, and perform scientifically based cost benefit comparisons of emission reduction strategies. We also offer enterprise-level risk analytics for a wide variety of non-climate-change threats and trends.

We have a blue-chip client base with a growing list of globally recognised brands. The pedigree of our solutions is supported by our deep academic roots that go back to the Business School in the University of Cambridge (UK) and the close ties we maintain to the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies.

Our business received Series B funding in early 2023 and is growing rapidly towards the next round of investment.

Our Benefits

Benefits include competitive base salary, annual discretionary bonus, employer pension contributions, private medical insurance, flexible working, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Our Values

We start with the facts

We grasp the facts first and give opinions second to make positive moves that matter.
We are insights-driven; understanding our customers’ challenges to meet their needs and inform company strategy.

We lead with integrity

We show respect for others in every interaction.
Professionalism is about ownership: we take responsibility and do what we say we will.

We are curious challengers

Complex problems don’t scare us – they fuel us.
We collaborate and innovate to remove complexity and enable positive transformation for ourselves and our clients.

We win together

We value every voice equally, embracing differences in background, expertise and experience.
We leave our egos at the door, lift each other up and align our direction of travel.

In this role, you will:

  • Translate complex business requirements into flexible and scalable solutions.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve our processes and tools, streamlining, scaling, and automating workflows.
  • Design and build reports and dashboards using Power BI, delivering compelling analytics and insights that are business/decision relevant.
  • Effectively set, lead, and communicate expectations both internally and externally.
  • Prioritize and context-switch effectively to complete simultaneous projects, seeing each through to the finish line.
  • Participate in design sprints to ideate and test new product ideas with the market.

Essential Skills

  • 2-5 years of commercial experience in a business intelligence/analytical and/or data analyst role.
  • Experience building end-to-end Business Intelligence dashboards (preference for PowerBI).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical outputs into intuitive visualizations.
  • Statistical coding experience (e.g., Python / R / Matlab) preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as stakeholder management.

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience working directly with clients to solicit product requirements preferred.
  • Experience in Corporates, Financial Services, or Insurance industries beneficial.
  • Strong SQL skills, including querying and data modelling, beneficial.
