Technical Product Owner

Job Description

Day Rate: £500.00 per day (Outside IR35)

Duration: 12 Months (long term project extensions likely)

Office Location: Bristol (Hybrid - Circa 3 days per week in the office)

Clearances: Active SC Clearance or eligible to gain.

Our client a cutting-edge defence tech company, on a mission to leverage technological innovation for the greater good is looking for a Technical Product Owner on a contract basis for at least the next 12 months.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to release.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on features for Android Open-source Project and Graphene OS.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps.
• Oversee automated development pipelines for updates and releases.
• Promote DevSecOps practices for security and continuous improvement.
• Use Scrum/Agile methodologies to manage progress and delivery.
• Work with architects and developers to design scalable applications.
• Translate technical concepts for stakeholders.
• Stay updated on driver development and contribute to technical discussions.

Required Experience:

• Hands-on experience with mobile applications, (Android Open-source Project (AOSP) & Graphene OS is a plus.)
• Building and managing automated development pipelines.
• Working in DevSecOps environments.
• Scrum/Agile delivery methods.
• Software architecture and application development.
• Driver development knowledge.
